How To Get Started

  • Schedule

    I offer appointment times Sunday-Thursday between 10:30am and 8:00pm (exact hours vary per day). You can view my detailed schedule in my online calendar.

  • Booking Appointments

    Appointments be booked by using my online booking calendar or by contacting me directly, either by email, phone or text. Regular standing appointment times are available by request on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Video Platform

    All video psychotherapy sessions are facilitated using the Jane platform, a secure system designed specifically for health professionals. Jane can be accessed using the web browser on your computer or through a smart phone application. Links and instructions will be emailed in advance of all appointments.

  • Cancellation Policy

    I require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a cancelation fee equal to the full fee of the appointment.

  • Rates

    20-minute phone or video consultation / Free

    50- minute phone, video or in person individual psychotherapy / $175.00

    80-minute phone, video or in person individual psychotherapy / $260.00

  • Payment

    Payments can be processed using Credit Card (Mastercard, VISA, AMEX) or by Interac eTransfer to info@jessicaward.ca.

  • In Person Services

    In person services are offered in Barrie, Ontario and are bookable through VOX Mental Health. For more information on in-person services you can contact me or visit the VOX Mental Health website.

  • Insurance

    My services may be covered by your extended health benefits but they are not covered by OHIP. I do not file insurance claims directly but will provide you with a detailed receipt that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. If you are unsure if my services would be covered by your extended health benefits, I suggest checking with your insurance provider and confirming if they cover services by Registered Social Workers and/or individuals with a Master of Social Work. You may also want to confirm what is the maximum amount that is covered per session, and how much total coverage you are given per year.
